About Us
Ruth Radelet
Born in Portland, Oregon, Ruth has been the lead vocalist for Chromatics since debuting on their third album, Night Drive. Her inspiration comes from the likes of Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, and Kris Kristofferson. [1]
Adam Miller
Adam does double duty on guitar and vocals as Chromatics' sole consistent member. He formed the band in 2001 with a completely different lineup than what we see today. Band members fluxuated until 2005, when the current group --and their signature, melancholy sound-- came together. [2]
Nat Walker
On drums and synthesizer, Nat is crucial to the electronic sound of Chromatics, frequently working with sister-acts Glass Candy and Desire as well. [2]
Johnny Jewel
Not only is Johnny an active member of Chromatics, he also owns and operates their record label, Italians Do It Better, which releases music from all of his associated groups, including Glass Candy, Desire and Symmetry. [3]
